Professional Services:

 1) Hair Scientist,  Consulting practitioner in Pure-Trichology.        

Department of Health (MHRA) NOP Medicines Licence - allows limited prescription to consulted patients.
His practice-methods are medical not commercially-based.

 2) Expert Witness - personal injury re hair and related skin.  

He is extensively trained in Personal Injury legal work and is 'checked' annually by UK law bodies.
Since 1987 he has taken instructions to write trichological reports as a CPR Part 35 or CrPR Part 33 Expert/Advisor covering
dermatological situations and various problems or procedures relating to all human hair-bearing skin.
He is conversant with current hairdressing industry techniques and standards (excluding electrolysis and skin-invasive subjects).

• Clinical practice
  In his rôle as a Clinician:
  

  He is fully conversant with scalp and hair disorders.

  He provides service and advice to achieve and maintain best health and physical condition of hair and related skin.
  He recognises that treatment is not necessarily cure. He seeks to diagnose cause however deeply-rooted that might be.
  The nature of any treatment suggested is then supplemental to that diagnosis.
  
  
• Medico Legal consultant for expert work.
  In his rôle as an Expert Witness:
  He is an experienced medico-legal practitioner dealing with all Personal Injury work involving hair and related skin problems, accredited for report and Court work by the Academy of Experts. 
  He is fully-trained to competently offer services within his expertise to both the legal and insurance professions as either a Party-appointed or as a Single Joint Expert.
  

  
  Non-Orthodox Medico-Legal work: covering cases regarding Claimant or Defendant.

  - cosmetic condition.
  - hair damage - e.g. caused by permanent waving, straightening, relaxing, tinting/bleaching (colouring or decolouring).

- reaction.
- trauma.
- hair growth potential

Evidence (image recording): medical macro-photography / photomicrography.
Advice re: hair transplants, wigs, hair pieces, hair extensions.

Expert Witness experience:
Cases of murder and assault involving scalp or related skin and hair.
Alleged negligence by hairdressing or otherwise - involving scalp or related skin and hair.
Road-traffic, domestic or workplace incidents involving scalp or related skin and hair.
Hairloss or regrowth potential. 

Trained:  in all legal aspects of CPR and CrPR-compliant report writing, giving evidence in Court, and to act as either:
Party, Agreed or Single Joint Expert in cases involving above specialist fields.
He has over 20 years of practice experience as a Clinical Hair-Scientist to many hundreds of patients. Throughout that time he has been an independent Expert instructed by the UK's leading solicitors/insurers on behalf of their Claimants/Defendants.

          Geographical area of work:  all areas of UK, in particular Northern England (East and West).
